Coach Dan Schultz

Dan
Schultz was affiliated with the Santa Clara Swim Club for 3.5 years,
coaching with swimming legend, Dick Jochums. Santa Clara Swim Club
has a rich tradition of producing great swimmers such as Mark Spitz and
Tom Wilkens.
Coach
Dan's personal swimming background began as a high-school swimmer in his
home state of Indiana, where he was two-time state champion, and
six-time All American. His collegiate swimming career was at
Stanford University, where he was a member of the 1998 National
Championship Team and a teammate of our own alum, Olympian Gabrielle
Rose. Coach Schultz was also a three-time All American and
three-time runner-up at NCAA Championships. He graduated from
Stanford with a degree in psychology, with an emphasis in psychobiology.
He is married to Morgan, a native of Birmingham, Alabama.

Scott O'Reilly

Head Age Group Coach Scott O'Reilly
|

Scott came to us from Erlanger Kentucky, where he was the Head Age
Group Coach for the Northern Kentucky Clippers. Scott is a graduate of
Notre Dame University and obtained his Master's Degree from Texas A
& M, where he assisted in coaching both the women's team and Aggie
Swim Camps. Scott works with Thunder's Black and Southeastern groups.
He also teaches at St George's High School. He is married to
Carleen, who is originally from New Jersey. They met in graduate school
at Texas A&M. Carleen works for ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Barby Weaver

Coach Barby Weaver

Barby
Weaver is a native of Mexico City where she swam
competitively for 13 years and was selected to compete for the Mexican
National Swim Team. She was ranked 2nd in Mexico in the 100
meter breast stroke and was a qualifier for the Central American Games.
Barby also had a qualifying time and competed in the 1988 Olympic
tryouts in Austin, TX.
Coach
Barby Weaver is an American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA)
level 3 certified coach and has been coaching since 2001 including five
years with Blue Tide Aquatics in Houston, TX. Coach Barby and her
husband, Craig, and three sons live in Olive Branch, MS.
